First high speed train for Andhra Pradesh

After recent developments in Railway ministry the union government had revealed its plan to develop Vijayawada - Gudoor line into high speed line. Earlier the bullet trains had proposed in multiple routes but the government focused to improve the lines into high speed lines before that. Railway DRM Pradeep Kumar has confirmed this news in his Bapatla City visit.

As per information the proposal had been already submitted to railway ministry. The union government had granted 700 crores for this project. Initially the track will be developed to complain 130 kmph then it will be upgraded to support upto 200 kmph. The project will be on track by 2015 first quarter.
