This first time MLA is having a tough time understanding the rough and tumble of politics. He is finding the going tough. He is unable to match wits with the senior party leaders and is finding it difficult to coordinate with various groups in the party.

Pedakurapadu MLA Namburu Sankar Rao is new to politics. But, he hit the jackpot when Jagan made him the party candidate. He won the elections riding on the Ys Jagan wave. But, problems began after his victory. He is now finding that there are different groups in the party and each is at war with the other.

To add to the woes, Sankar Rao is encouraging new entrants from other parties. With this, the loyal old-timers are on a warpath against the MLA. There are five groups in the party. IN Pedakurapadu, Achempet,Krosur and Bellamkonda mandals, there are two groups each.In Amaravati mandal, there are three groups. ShankarRao had to work really hard coordinating all these groups during the local body elections.

The latest is that several dissidents, who are unhappy with Namburu SankarReo met in a farmhouse in Chandrajupalem in Bellamkonda mandal. The meeting was well attended. The MLA got wind of this meeting and immediately tried to patch up with several leaders. But, the groupism is said to be giving him sleepless nights. He is now finding himself increasingly cornered in the constituency politics.
