First Winner In AP To Be Declared At 2 PM

AP Chief Electoral Officer Gopalkrishna Dwivedi informed about the arrangements made for the counting process Today. As many as 350 counting halls were arranged in 36 centres. First of all, Postal Ballot Votes will be counted. Thereafter, Counting of votes polled in EVMs would be focussed. In case if there is any issue with the EVMs, VVPAT Slips will be counted.
Three-Layered Police Force has been deployed at all the counting centres. From Wednesday midnight, 144 Section will be in force to prevent violent incidents.
Mr.Dwivedi informed that clarity on the Polling Trends could be obtained by 12 noon. He says First Winner could be declared at around 2 PM and complete results will be out by midnight.
In the wake of reports that there could be violence after the announcement of results, Tight Security Arrangements have been done at all the sensitive areas in the state. CRPF Personnel were deployed to prevent the dejected party workers from taking hasty decisions.
