Tamil Nadu Politics have been revolving around Sasikala Natarajan after the demise of Jayalalithaa. It's almost official that Jaya's close confidante will be AIADMK General Secretary sooner or later. But, Some of the party leaders have been pleading Sasikala to become Chief Minister in the absence of Amma by contesting by-poll from RK Nagar constituency.
At this stage, Several flexis and banners have been set up in Jayalalithaa's RK Nagar Assembly constituency asking Sasikala not to contest from here. Some of the quotes, 'Chinnamma...What you have done so far is enough, Please don't contest from RK Nagar', 'You promoted yourself as Amma's political successor, Don't you have the responsibility to share the truth behind her Death' and 'Sasikala would face the wrath of people in RK Nagar and Tamil Nadu'.
People of RK Nagar who always backed Jayalalithaa were divided into two groups. While some of them say he keep voting for AIADMK since MGR's time, Others dare to ask Sasikala to campaign in the constituency to know her worth and doesn't hesitate to say she is no match to Amma.
