Viral: Flooding On Punjagutta Flyover!

Hyderabad received a record rainfall of over 120 mm in the month of September this year. Heavy rainfall in the past few days resulted in flooding at not just low-lying areas but also on the flyovers in the city
A video of water flowing on Punjagutta flyover at a dangerous level went viral on social media. In the footage, A person speaking to the other individual abused the concerned Officials or Contractors for not planning the construction of the flyover properly. Even the official Twitter handle of Hyderabad Traffic Police shared this video in which a cop was doing his duty inspite of the tough condition.
If flyovers appear like rivers after few days of rainfall, That's a serious issue which deserves the attention of the Telangana Government. This wouldn't have happened if the flyover have a proper drainage system. Hopefully, State Government comes forward to do something at the earliest to address the traffic issues faced by the citizens.
