Football Legend Ronaldinho Gets Arrested In Paraguay

Ronaldinho played football for Brazil and at the height of his popularity, he enjoyed the same fame as Wayne Rooney and Zinedine Zidane. In 2002, he is part of the squad that won FIFA World Cup for Brazil too.
The ace footballer got arrested in Paraguay for entering into the country with fake passport and visa. He was given the documents by a Brazillian Businessman, Wilmondes Sousa Lira. The Businessman also got arrested.
With Ronaldinho, his brother, Roberto Assis was also travelling to the country. Ronaldinho's lawyers stated that they don't know under what authority, the prosecutors from Paraguay filled the case.
Earlier, one prosecutor decided to not press charges on the star player but then another one decided to take the case to the court. Police have arrested them from their hotel room as the case got filed.
Court could summon them for a trial on Sunday and the brothers have said that they will co-operate fully for the investigation said media reports.
Ronaldinho's passport has been withdrew by Brazilian Government after he failed to pay 2.5 Million Dollar fine for environmental damage while constructing a building. So, the details entered in the passport he submitted to Paraguay authorities are said to be Fake.
The footballer said that he got documents one month and he was grilled for 8 hours by the police during interrogation.
