By: Tupaki Desk | 23 Oct 2020 6:01 AM GMTIn what it could be a shocker, two members of Parliament have contacted the novel Coronavirus in Telangana. For the first time, MPs have tested virus positive in the state.
TRS MP BB Patil who represents the Zahirabad constituency and Congress MP Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, who represents the Bhongir constituency contacted the virus.
BB Patil took to Twitter to announce the news of catching the virus. He said his health condition is stable now and urged people who might have come in contact with him to undergo tests.
'I have been tested positive for Covid-19 with mild symptoms, I request all who came in contact with me to get their test done. #StayHomeStaySafe,' the TRS MP's tweet read.
Congress MP Komatireddy Venkata Reddy recently campaigned for Dubbak by-elections. It is believed that he might have contacted the virus there. While announcing the news, he appalled people who came in contact with him to test themselves.
