Foreign Returnees Stopped From Entering Village

For instance, in Lingampet district of Kamareddy district, two persons, one who has just returned from Dubai and another from Karnataka, were stopped from entering into the village. When Mahankali Ramulu of the village, who works in Dubai, returned on a vacation, he was stopped by striking villagers who blocked the roads. Left with no option, Ramulu went to a primary health centre. Similarly, Anil Kumar of neighbouring Parmalla village was returning after a four-day visit to Karnataka. He too was stopped and asked to undergo medical tests.
Meanwhile, an incident, where a person who was supposed to be in self-quarantine, flouting the restrictions and visiting various places came to light. Srinivas Goud, of Tallapalli in Rajanna Sircilla district has returned from Dubai on March 18. He was advised home quarantine by the officials. However, instead of confining to home, he went to Sircilla to buy a fridge. On knowing this, the authorities took him into custody on Saturday midnight and registered a case against him.
