Former Ap Cm To Be Made Ap Congress Chief

One such state the Congress party badly needs to pick up is Andhra Pradesh. The grand old party is failing to get even deposits in the state since the 2014 general elections.
The voters in Andhra Pradesh were furious about Congress for dividing Andhra Pradesh into two states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. As a result, the Congress went on to become weaker in Andhra Pradesh.
It is said that Oommen Chandy, in-charge of Andhra Pradesh wing of Congress, held a key meeting with a few leaders and discussed the situation of Congress in the state.
After the meeting, the leaders had made a crackdown on the list of leaders who can help the party in getting the required mileage to pick up.
Reports claim that the likes of KVP Ramachander Rao,Raghuveera Reddy, former Chief Minister of combined Andhra Pradesh Kiran Kumar Reddy were proposed.
Despite the leaders proposing a few names, the majority of the leaders are said to be in favour of making Kiran Kumar Reddy the chief of AP Congress.
Stressing on the fact that he held the Chief Minister post in the past, the leaders are confident that Kiran Kumar Reddy can get the things right on the tract for the party.
It is also said that, Rahul Gandhi will hold a meeting with the leaders and convince them to take up the huge task.
However, changing the perception of the voters in Andhra Pradesh is going to be a mammoth job for the leaders, especially for the Andhra Pradesh Congress Chief.
People there are still unable to digest the fact that the state was divided. The situation of Congress in Telangana is somewhat better.
To end the crisis and internal issues within the T-Congress, the party high command took a daring decision of appointing Revanth Reddy as TPCC chief instead of going for the senior leaders.
