After a certain point of time, the sportsmen quit the game and look at other options. This is the part and parcel of the game. Entering sports and playing for a few years and bidding goodbye is quite common. Based on their interests, they might get involved in sports in other roles or they might focus on other things.

Veteran Cricketer Rahul Dravid became the coach and VVS Laxman is also on the same path while the other legendary players are busy with other work. Veteran English cricketer Andrew Flintoff stepped into the shoes of a host and has been working with British Broadcasting Corporation(BBC).

While shooting for the show Andrew Flintoff is said to have met with an accident and sustained injuries. Following this, he was airlifted to a nearby hospital. The BBC said the same and maintained that further information will be issued in the due time. Due to the injury, the show was stopped by the channel. There is no update on when the show will be resumed.

As per the BBC, the accident took place on Monday at the Dunsfold Park Aerodrome in Surrey. While filming the episode he sustained injuries. The episode was reportedly filmed at the test track in icy conditions and he might have lost the grip.

"Freddie was injured in an accident at the Top Gear test track this morning - with crew medics attending the scene immediately," the BBC said about the mishap.

It is said that the injuries Flintoff sustained are not that serious as his vehicle was not traveling at high speed. After the medical staff of the company helped him, Flintoff was taken to a nearby hospital.

The Top gear show is aired by BBC and the show lists all the specifications of the latest bikes and cars. The presenters ride them to give first-hand experience of the vehicles. The show has been running for many years and it has already completed 33 seasons.

As Flintoff is interested in cars and bikes, he joined the show hosted by BBC back in 2019. He serves as a host along with others like Paddy McGuinness and Chris Harris.
