Nagam bids goodbye to Telangana BJP

Nagam Janardhan Reddy was No.2 in Telugu Desam Party. He, however, took the decision to quit TDP and floated a new party after the assault in Osmania University during Telangana Movement. Before 2014 Polls, Nagam joined BJP and unsuccessfully contested the election. He isn't active in party activities since then.
BJP showed no signs of improving it's prospects in the past four years. On the other hand, Congress began gaining strength with the entry of many leaders from TDP and other parties. On Thursday, He announced that the decision has been taken to resign respecting the views of his followers and supporters.
Sources say, Revanth Reddy was instrumental in clearing all the hurdles for the entry of Nagam into Congress. He pacified the Leaders opposing his entry and convinced Congress High Command.
