Breaking: Former TDP Leader Atchannaidu Arrested!

A tense situation aroused in Srikakulam of Andhra Pradesh after the cops have taken the Telugu Desam Party(TDP) veteran and former Labour Minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu into custody on Tuesday.
According to the media reports, the former Minister was arrested on the grounds of allegedly threatening a contestant, who has filed a nomination as Sarpanch in Nimmada.
On the other hand, it is also said, the TDP veteran was also taken into custody, as a precautionary measure. YSRCP Rajya Sabha member Vijayasai Reddy will tour Nimmada today. To see that, no unwanted situation takes place, he was arrested.
The issue of alleged threatening surfaced after an audiotape of a conversation between Atchannaidu and Sarpanch contestant Appanna went viral on social media. Appanna has also claimed that the TDP leader pressurized him to withdraw his nomination.
However, the TDP party has found fault with the arrest of Atchannaidu. They have questioned, why the other people were left and only the TDP leader was arrested for allegedly threatening the YSRCP Sarpanch leader.
TDP Supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu slammed the ruling YSRCP over Atchannaidu's arrest. He alleged that he was arrested for raising his voice against the government's rule and demanded the government to release him immediately.
It has to be noted that, earlier Atchannaidu was arrested in connection with the Multi-crore ESI scam. After struggling hard, the Court gave a sigh of relief to him by granting him bail.
