Dr. Ami Bera, Pramila Jayapal, Ro Khanna, and Raja Krishnamoorthi have been re-elected to the United States House of Representatives. Raja Krishnamoorthi won three consecutive terms.
47-year-old Raja Krishnamoorthi who was born in Delhi won the elections by defeating Libertarian Party candidate Preston Nelson. The early reports claimed, Krishnamoorthi accounted for around 71 percent of votes.
55-year-old Doctor Ami Bera has a cakewalk win in the elections. The physical crushed his rival, Republican party candidate Buzz Patterson to emerge victorious for the fifth consecutive term.
Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal who has her roots in Chennai has re-elected to the US House of Representatives for the third consecutive term by defeating Republican candidate Craig Keller.
