WOW! AP BJP Got Strengthened With TDP MPs!!
By: Tupaki Desk | 20 Jun 2019 2:24 PM GMTSoon after Chandrababu Naidu went on a foreign tour, BJP opened doors for welcoming the MPs who are willing to come out of TDP. On Thursday, TDP MPs Sujana Chowdary, CM Ramesh, TG Venkatesh and Garikapati Rammohan submitted a letter to Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu asking them to treat as a special group instead of as TDP MPs and even sought the merger of TDP Parliamentary Party with BJP. This is a strategy followed by Amit Shah to avoid criticism over encouraging defections.
There after, BJP Working President JP Nadda welcomed the TDP MPs by offering Saffron Shawls. TDP MPs claimed to have got inspired from PM Modi's leadership and merging TDPP in the best interest of the nation. TG Venkatesh told, 'I have a good association with BJP. Joined the national party for the development of Rayalaseema. I resigned to TDP, not the MP Post'.
JP Nadda declared AP BJP got strengthened with the joining of Four Rajya Sabha MPs. He went on to say BJP believes in positive politics 'Sab Ka Saath - Sab Ka Vikas'.
How many more TDP Leaders will be shifting loyalties to BJP by the time Chandrababu Naidu returns from his foreign trip? Defections of MPs will hurt the TDP Supremo more than the 2019 Election results.
