Fraudsters black marketing Krishnapatnam Ayurvedic Covid medicine too!
By: Tupaki Desk | 22 May 2021 10:59 AM GMTAs the ongoing Covid virus is spreading its dead wings across the nation, vaccinating people is the only way to save them from the deadly virus. There is an acute shortage of Coronavirus vaccine doses. However, fraudsters are encashing the shortage of vaccines by black marketing.
Now the fraudsters are black marketing the much-talked-about Krishnapatnam medicine. After the miracle medicine made it to the headlines, people from neighboring states are also rushing to Krishnapatnam in Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh to get the medicine.
Around 60,000 people have reached the village to get the medicine. The situation has reached a level that the cops have to intervene and use Lathi charge to see that the crowd won't create any scene there.
The fraudsters have approached people who came from other places to sell the miracle medicine. Media reports claimed that a small packet is sold for around Rs 10,000. On Friday alone, the fraudsters have earned lakhs of money from black marketing the medicine, media reports claimed.
The miracle drug was sent to ICMR to find out the efficacy of the medicine. The reports are awaited. The Andhra Pradesh government said, once the ICMR report is out, they will decide on whether the medicine can be allowed for distribution or not.
