COVID-19 Positive Cases Reach 700 In Telangana

The positive cases of the novel coronavirus in Telangana are increasing rapidly as 16 fresh positive COVID-19 were reported in the Suryapet district, which makes the highest single-day cases in the state. This makes the total toll of the cases in the district to 39.
The total count of the positive cases of COVID-19 in Telangana has reached 700 ringing the danger bells. To date, 18 patients have succumbed to the virus. A tense situation erupted with 24 hours after declaring the Suryapet district as an orange zone.
Following this, the special health teams constituted by the state Health Department have conducted a door-to-door survey throughout the Suryapet district as more and more cases were being reported from the district.
The special teams have samples from 2,662 from the Suryapet district while no swab samples were collected for further medical examinations. As a result, 214 people were shifted to the nearby quarantine centers.
