Friend Akbaruddin Owaisi Hits KCR The Hardest
By: Tupaki Desk | 26 July 2019 10:44 AM GMTTelangana Chief Minister KCR is in a piquant position. His relations with Prime Minister Narendra Modi are already on a downturn. The BJP in AP is breathing down his neck with trenchant criticism and strongest attacks. As if all these are not enough, the controversial, communally inflammable statement of his best buddy Akbaruddin Owaisi has added fuel to the fire.
KCR's intemperate ''Hindugallu Bondugallu'' has cost him dearly in the Lok Sabha elections. He lost both Karimnagar and Nizamabad Lok Sabha seats entirely due to this comment. He is said to have rued making such comment and is said to have told his closest associates that the BJP could take full advantage of this comment. For KCR, this is a wrong statement from Akbaruddin at a wrong time.
Now Akbaruddin's comment that he would finish off the Hindus if the police are withdrawn for fifteen minutes, is proving to be a huge embarrassment for him. The BJP is going to go full throttle against these comments and mobilise support among the Hindu voters. Already there is pressure on KCR from his supporters to issue a rebuttal of Akbaruddin's comments. Several complaints have been filed and FIRs booked in police stations against Akbaruddin and the Government will have to respond sooner than later. The TRS supporters feel that KCR to respond on time and control the damage.
