Fuel prices to change daily from May 1st
By: Tupaki Desk | 1 May 2017 9:03 AM GMTPrices of Petrol and Diesel will be revised on a daily basis from May 1st (Monday) in 5 select Cities in India. The change of prices will be in sync with the international prices.
This pilot project is being launched by State-owned fuel retailers Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd (BPCL), Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) and Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd (HPCL) who own 95 percent of around 58,000 petrol pumps in India. Vizag in AP, Udaipur in Rajasthan, Jamshedpur in Jharkhand, Chandigarh and Puducherry had been chosen for this mission. IOC announced the prices of petrol and diesel for Monday.
Costs of Petrol & Diesel per Litre in 5 Cities:
Vizag: Petrol - Rs 72.68; Diesel - Rs 62.81
Udaipur: Petrol - Rs 70.57; Diesel - Rs 61.23
Jamshedpur: Petrol - Rs 69.33; Diesel - Rs 60.26
Chandigarh: Petrol - Rs 67.65; Diesel - Rs 57.74
Puducherry: Petrol - Rs 66.02; Diesel - Rs 58.68
