Gabbar Singh 2 not on Pawan's home banner

Speculations have been in circulation that Gabbar Singh 2 will be produced on Pawan Kalyan's home banner Pawan Kalyan Creative Works Pvt Ltd. However, the actor has no such plans as of now and the film will be under the banner North Star Entertainment Pvt.Ltd which is owned by his good friend Sarath Marar.
Even Gabbar Singh too was supposed to be produced by Pawan himself, but the chance was given to Bandla Ganesh in the last minute and he become a star producer after the release of that film. When will Powerstar make his first film on his home banner is a big mystery for now!
Gabbar Singh 2 is a sequel to Gabbar Singh, but not a Telugu remake of Dabangg 2. Makers have saved few crores by preparing their own story and director Sampath Nandi is pinning a lot of hopes on this project. Pawan is even thinking of changing the title and Bengal Tiger is the one suggested by the director. Shooting begins from September end.
