YSRCP senior leader and Government Chief Whip Gadikota Srikanth Reddy said that the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government was working sincerely and in a determined manner to contain Corona virus. He said the government was working hard to help the people of the state during these times of complete lockdown.

Talking to mediapersons, he said that instead of giving good and workable suggestions to the State Government, Chandrababu Naidu is doing everything he can to ensure that the virus spread and deaths occur. He said sitting in Hyderabad, Chandrababu was conspiring to fail the corona control measures.

He said the State Government was taking up Corona tests in a bit way and even on Monday, the government has undertaken as many as 10500 tests. He said the government has taken several important and workable decisions like setting up quarantine centres, issuing notices for the recruitment of medical officers, notifications for 835 special officers, popularizing Arogya Setu app, setting up of toll free whatsapp number, toll-free tele medicine number and distribution of ration thrice a month.

Despite the alarming financial condition of the state, Jagan has implemented all the welfare schemes like Jagananna Vidya Deevena, Matsyakara Bharosa and Door Delivery of Pensions. He said Chandrababu is hell bent on mud-slinging on YS Jagan. He said that Chandrababu wants the number of Corona positive cases to grow. He said all that Chandrababu was doing is to shoot off letters to the Union Ministers. He said Chandrababu cannot even list out four welfare schemes that he had introduced. Even in case of the Vizag gas leakage incident, Chandrababu was trying to incite the people through zoom app meetings, Gadikota Srikanth Reddy said. He reminded that it was Chandrababu's hunger for publicity that led to the stampede during Godavari Pushkarams and caused 29 deaths. Instead of condoling the deaths, Chandrababu sought to justify them saying that there were deaths even during Kumbha melas and road mishaps.

He said further that though the government had no hand in the Vizag gas tragedy, YS Jagan had announced a financial relief of Rs 1 crore. He said while Jagan was a real people's leader, Chandrababu was only interested in publicity. He also said that YS Jagan Government was committed to the welfare of the people.
