Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP Chief Amit Shah has been facing opposition within the party after the defeat in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. None other than a Union Minister made hard-hitting comments on the BJP Leadership.
Nitin Gadkari: 'Success have many fathers, but failure is an orphan. So many people would take credit for success. In the case of failure, Nobody takes the responsibility and everyone starts pointing fingers at each other. Leadership should own the defeat as well'.
Union Road Transport and Highways Minister made these comments at an event in Pune. The way Nitin Gadkari has responded to the shocking result indicates even Union Ministers were unhappy over the domination of Modi & Shah.
Defeat in the three crucial states hint the Anti-Modi Wave in the country. If the anti-incumbency keeps growing, It will be herculean task for BJP to win at least half of the Lok Sabha Seats it won in 2014 Polls. Mood of the people seems to be in favour of Congress at the moment.
