Gandhi Hospital Medical Staff Couldn't Work At Isolation Wards
By: Tupaki Desk | 27 March 2020 6:50 AM GMTIn what it could be a shocker, the helping staff working at the Gandhi Hospital, Hyderabad has written a letter in which they stated that they cannot work at the isolation wards where the patients of Covid-19 were being treated.
"We are providing 24-hour services to the COVID-19 patients but no one cares about them," said the staff in the letter.
The nurses working at the hospital went on to say that, the police were stopping their husbands at the hospitals who were heading to pick them. They went on to say that they were unable to work at the isolation wards regularly.
They are also demanding a change of shift for their duties. In addition to that, the senior nurses at Gandhi Hospital were demanding hospitals.
"Though we are taking up safety measures while treating the patients, we are scared of our health," they added.
One more recommendation came from the medical staff and they requested the Telangana government to look into their issues and renovate the RMO1 quarters for their stay.
