Ganesh Chavithi Sees Shiv Sena Camps Fighting Each Other!
By: Tupaki Desk | 11 Sep 2022 1:59 PM GMTAs a big development in Maharashtra politics, the coalition government fell and BJP came into power. Who gets to take the party between Eknath Shindeâs camp and Uddhav Thackerayâs camp is a question which has been going on. There is no answer to this. Both sides say they are the true heirs.
Taking forward the discussion, both camps fought each other earlier today. As per the information, supporters of both sides locked horns with each other and a few people were arrested. FIR was filed against around two dozen people and the arrested were released.
After the Ganesh immersion, both camps had an argument reportedly and things escalated quickly. With both sides fighting each other, the cops had to intervene.
It has to be mentioned here that Shiv Sena started two camps after the change in power. The Shiv Sena was divided into two camps. One is which supports current Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and the second one is which supports former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.
At regular intervals, both camps tried to prove that they are the true heirs of Shiv Sena's legacy. Uddhav even filed a petition with the Supreme Court seeking directives to disqualify Eknath Shinde and his supporters. The issue is pending.
The Ganesh Chaturthi is the new occasion to see both camps locking horns. Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the biggest festivals in the state and Shiv Sena has the trend of celebrating Ganesh Chavithi and Dasara festivals. We might see such fights on Dasara as well.
