Student Groups Clash At JNTU In Hyderabad

Students of a popular Business School attended a party organised in a hotel. During the party, Discussing about old issues between the two groups made them into arch-rivals. Thereafter, The two groups resorting to chasing on bikes, exchanging fist blows, thrashing members of opposite group with hockey sticks.
This incident which happened in Kukatpally 9th Phase near JNTU terrified the locals. A Woman was severely injured during the stone pelting by the student groups. She lodged a police complaint against the Students involved in the street fight.
Cops took the students into custody and carrying out the investigation. As per the preliminary report, Love affair led to this sort of situation.
Visuals aired by the News Channels reminded about the gang wars shown in 'Shiva'. Several students were injured during the clashes and this kind of behaviour in a public place is unacceptable. They need counselling to understand the consequences of such violent activities.
