Ganguly gets stuck in 29-Year-Old Lift

Sourav Ganguly received a rude shock in the form of malfunction of the club house lift at the famous Eden Gardens. The incident took place at 5 pm Today when Dada was on his way to his office on the first floor.
Actually, The manually operated grill door lift got stuck in between two floors. Soon, Security Personnel has responded to ensure safety of Ganguly. A stool was dropped inside the lift and the former skipper had climbed on it to come out. Putting-off the electricity has led to this unpleasant incident.
Officials say, The lift was installed when renovation works were taken up in Eden Garden for hosting the World Cup final in 1987.
Although renovation works were taken up a lot of times in the past two decades, CAB Officials didn't bother to replace the old lift with a modern one. Ganguly mayn't have faced embarrassment had if it was done.
