Ganta's Destination - YCP Or Jana Sena?
By: Tupaki Desk | 25 May 2018 5:41 AM GMTAP HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao seems to be contemplating to quit Telugu Desam Party ahead of 2019 General Elections. Few days ago, MP Vijay Sai Reddy revealed Ganta is ready to join YSR Congress is the party leadership offers it's consent. At the same time, He maintained Ganta can't be loyal as he have the tendency to shift parties for political gains.
Ganta Srinivasa Rao hasn't managed to perform well in any of the internal surveys of TDP. In addition, He kept facing corruption allegations in the past few years. Even rift with Minister Ayyanna Patrudu troubled Ganta a lot.
Comments made by Vijay Sai Reddy gave an indication that YCP Leadership isn't ready to entertain Ganta Srinivasa Rao. In such a situation, He might be looking at Jana Sena Party.
Ganta have a close association with Chiranjeevi since PRP was floated in 2008. But, That doesn't mean Pawan Kalyan would welcome him into the party. Why would Jana Sena Chief ruin his party image by inviting a Minister when he is making corruption allegations against TDP? If both YCP and Jana Sena turn down his request, Ganta will have no other option but to continue in TDP.
