Ganja supplied all over India from Vizag: Minister

AP Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao didn't hesitate to say Ganja is being supplied all over the country from Visakha Agency itself.
After the review meeting with Management of Private Schools, Excise & Drug Control Department, Police & Officials of Education Department at Circuit House, Ganta told Media: 'I was stunned upon knowing 8th, 9th Class Student has been consuming drugs after the racket was busted in Hyderabad. Parents shouldn't offer pocket money beyond what is required. Teachers and Parents need to observe the behaviour of kids to prevent them from getting addicted to bad habits. Non-Bailable Cases will be booked against drug peddlers and drug addicts. Excise Officials need to focus on drugs supply in the form of chocolates and biscuits,' he said.
Lack of adequate security in Road & Rail routes between Visakha & Vijayawada is making the job of smugglers easy. Ganja is transported to Vijayawada Outskirts and later distributed to retailers.
