Chiranjeevi treated me like a Brother

HRD Minister Ganta Srinivas Rao revealed about the relation he shares with Chiranjeevi in a recent interview.
Ganta: 'Chiranjeevi treated me like a Brother, just alike Naga Babu & Pawan Kalyan. He would call me as 'Abbai'. Before joining TDP, I met Chiru 3-4 times to convey the news but failed to say because of the relation we share. Few days before meeting CBN for official entry into TDP, Me & other MLAs Chintalapudi Venkataramayya, Ramesh, Avanthi Srinivas went to Chiru's House to inform him about our decision to leave Congress. The 3 MLAs waited outside & I went inside at 9 AM. Even after 1.30 PM, I haven't come out and the trio had no clue what's happening inside. Both Chiru & Me got very emotional and had tears in eyes due to the fact that we will be in two different parties from them. Finally, He got convinced, wished me good luck and felt happy with my decision of preferring TDP over YSR Congress'.
The Minister reveals YSR Congress party leaders approached him prior to 2014 elections and even tried to lure him with party ticket. However, He choose TDP due to the compatibility he have with Chandrababu Naidu and believes only he can handle the crisis in the state.
Ganta said he would have taken up political sanyas due to group war in TDP had if Chiranjeevi hadn't floated Praja Rajyam Party.
