Gavaskar said Kohli was not yet born when team India won

After clinching the series, Virat Kohli was all praise for the BCCI president Sourav Ganguly. Kohli thanked Sourav Ganguly for establishing a winning culture. 'The idea is to establish yourself in the middle and we have learnt to stand up and give it back. It all started with Dada's team and we are just carrying it forward,' Virat Kohli had said after the series win in Kolkata.
However, some Indian cricket fan would say that they are completely irrelevant. Even in the days before Ganguly, Team India had won many Tests. At one stage for Team India, Azharuddin became the most successful captain in Tests. Before Azharuddin, Team India won many tests under Kapil Dev and Gavaskar. Gavaskar said Kohli was not yet born when team India won several tests under his regime.
