GHMC Effect: KCR Begins Filling Nominated Posts
By: Tupaki Desk | 17 Dec 2020 4:27 AM GMTStung by the recent election defeats in Dubbak and the GHMC, TRS boss and CM KCR has decided to address the growing rumblings in the party. For years, KCR has left the nominated posts unfilled. During the 2018 and 2019 elections and also during the ZP elections, he had assured the leaders who were denied tickets due to electoral calculations that they would be suitably rehabilitated and that they would be given the nominated posts.
But, KCR kept all these leaders waiting.
As a result, many such leaders are staying away from the party activities and did not even bother to lend a helping hand to the party during the Dubbak and the GHMC polls. Fearing that the same story could be repeated in the Nagarjunasagar too, KCR is said to planning to fill all the nominated posts at the earliest.
TRS insiders say that there are 75 nominated posts and they would be filled by Sankranthi festival. At least 25 posts would be filled before the end of December, sources say. According to TRS insiders, he has already short-listed some names for the purpose. The disgruntled TRS leaders, who have been waiting for long for these posts, are happy that the defeats in Dubbak and the GHMC have woken up KCR.
