Most Awaited Election Notification With In 2 Days

The Election commission is all set to give notification for 2016 Greater Hyderabad Municipality Corporation elections. State Elections Commissioner Nagireddy on Monday announced that notification for GHMC elections would be issued in 2-3 days. Speaking at the ocassion Nagi Reddy said the election process would be completed as per the scheduled time as per the directives of the High Court.
He stated that GHMC commiossioner would act as election authority and the final list of voters' list was ready. Nagireddy said 80,000 police personnel would be deployed to ensure smooth elections. The voters could know their polling station using the app.
The joint High Court recently directed the Telangana government to hold elections to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) before 31 January 2016.
Responding on the government's plea that preparations were going on for the elections, the court issued orders directing it to complete all the preparations by December 15 and the election process by January 31. The GHMC Elections are held once a 5 year as same duration term as General elections.
