GHMC Exit Polls proven wrong!

The sensational victory of TRS in GHMC polls has not only shocked Opposition Parties but also those agencies which conducted surveys. Even though all the surveys predicted emerge as the single largest party, None of them anticipated its victory in 99 Divisions.
On the other hand, All the surveys projected TDP-BJP Combine would win anywhere between 22 to 34 seats. However, The end result stood at just 5 seats.
5 Years Ago, TRS didn't even dare to contest in GHMC Polls as it doesn't have cadre here. Things changed drastically post its victory in 2014 General Elections and Greater Hyderabad people felt voting for the party in power would benefit them. The fact that TRS managed to win just 2 out of 24 Assembly constituencies in Greater Hyderabad in the 2014 polls didn't play any role here.
Intelligence Wing of Telangana Government predicted TRS will come over victorious in over 80 divisions.
