GHMC polls schedule Announced

The much awaited notification of GHMC electiosn is finally out. Telangana State Election Commission on Friday announced GHMC polls schedule. As the reservations were clear, the Election Commission issued the notification that would mark the beginning of the process for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections.
As per the notification polling will be held on February 2 from 7 am to 5 pm and the results will be declared on February 5. Election Commissioner Nagi Reddy today while announcing the news and says EC will be accepting the nominations from the candidates between January 12 and 17. The nominations would be scrutinized on January 18 and January 21 will be the last date for withdrawal of nominations.
If the polling gets disrupted or postponed due to some unforeseeable reasons the election will be conducted for same on and February 4 is announced as the spare date. With declarations of polling dates, now all the parties are sharpening their ideas to go into public.
