GHMC Takes A Sensational Decision With The Virus Spread

The spread of the ongoing pandemic is ringing danger bells in Telangana as the state is reporting more and more cases day by day. The areas that fall under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) are turning out to be the hotspots of the virus as they report the more number of infections.
Following this, the GHMC opted to not allow the normal public into the main office, and to represent their problems and issues they should have to register their complaints through Google Meet.
GHMC Commissioner D.S.Lokesh Kumar issued a press release in this regard in which he stated that the public will not be permitted to enter the office like before.
To register their complaint, people have to go through the Google Meet video link which is available on the official website of GHMC. The link will be active between 4 PM to 5 PM on all the working days and per day the officials will accept 500 to 700 complaints.
This new development came after many officials working at the Municipal body getting infected with the contagious disease. So far 25 officials working at the GHMC main office tested positive for the virus.
