Ghulam Nabi Azad Holds 5-Star Culture Responsible For Election Loss
By: Tupaki Desk | 23 Nov 2020 6:45 AM GMTThe century-plus old Indian National Congress(INC) is currently going through one of the toughest times. After losing the recently held by-elections, the senior leaders in the Congress party are making brutal introspective remarks against the party.
From Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury to Karti Chidambaram to Ghulam Nabi Azad many key leaders, including veteran leaders have batted for change and reforms in the leadership
Congress Rajya Sabha member Ghulam Nabi Azad took a step ahead and criticized the five-star culture in the party and said leaders sitting in the AC rooms will not help the party.
Adding further, the veteran leader said after getting the party ticket, the leaders will book a five-star hotel. Until the five-star culture is changed, we cannot win the elections.
The structure of the Congress party has collapsed. There is a need to rebuild it. If not, the party cannot survive. The sycophancy culture led to the downfall of the party, ANI quoted Azad.
Azad's comments days after Indian National Congress's chief Sonai Gandhi formed committees to counter the in-house critics who are making comments on the party and party leadership. Lets us see how these committees respond to Azad's comments.
