Girl gang Raped and killed on Womens day at Chittor

When the whole nation is busy with discussing about the BBC documentary on Nirbhayas brutal gangrape another ghastly incident took place today in Chittor district of Andhra Pradesh. In a gruesome incident, an 18-year-old girl was found gang-raped and murdered in Chandrababus own district Chittor.
The girl was hailed from Dalit community and eking out a livelihood by rearing cattle and goats. She was allegedly gang raped by four persons who later killed her by crushing neck.The girl reportedly left with livestock for a forest fringe area near the Penumuru-Chittoor road in the morning but did not return. Some farmer found her in bushes with torn clothes.The girl's body was found near the banks of Neeva river.
District SP and collector have taken the issue very seriously and ordered a detailed probe. Chandrababu naidu responded on the incident very quickly and ordered for a detailed probe on the matter.Naidu announced an ex gratia of Rs 5 Lakh to victim's family.The incident was happened on womens day and it yet again throw the light on the darkside of society.
