Stalker Pours Petrol On Girl, Set Her Ablaze in Hyd!

A Girl in her early 20s was set ablaze by a Stalker on Thursday evening. This shocking incident happened at Lalapeta on Thursday evening.
Sandhya Rani (23), the victim, has been working as an accountant in a shop at Shanti Nagar. She used to go to meet her Friend who lives in Eedammagudi area. That's when she got in touch with Friend's Brother Karthik. Since some time, Karthik has been making love proposals but she kept declining them. He kept harassing her by making phone calls. A heated argument took place between them on Thursday evening. Enraged by it, Karthik poured petrol on Sandhya Rani while she was on the road and set her on fire. Everything happened in a jiffy that it took some time for the people to react and put off the flames. The victim was rushed to Gandhi Hospital with 80 percent burn injuries.
At around 7:30 PM, Karthik surrendered in Lalapeta Police Station. Cops have registered the case and carrying out the investigation.
On Friday morning, Sandhya Rani passed away due to the severe burn injuries. People have been demanding stringent punishment for Karthik who claimed an innocent girl's life.
Sandhya Rani's Father passed away several years ago. She was living with her Mother. Three of her brothers were living separately after marriage.
