A minor girl from Narasapura in Belagavi district of Karnataka did a TikTok video to explain the plight of her mother, whose both kidneys are completely damaged. She said that the medicines that her mother has to use daily have been exhausted and that there is no medical shop in the near vicinity. She asked the people to help her get the medicine. Karnataka Chief Minister Yeddiyurappa saw this video and immediately directed the concerned authorities to provide her with the medicines. Within hours, the officials were at her door step and supplied her with the medicines she needed for her mother. The officials also informed the girl that they would be ever ready to help her. They gave their contact number and asked her to inform them of any need. The girl told the officials that her mother had a kidney transplantation recently and was convalescing at home.
