AP CM Chandrababu Naidu made interesting comments on the Constitution of India on the eve of BR Ambedkar's birth anniversary. 'Constitution scripted by Ambedkar may be nice, but the people who implement it aren't good enough then it will become bad. We will establish 125-feet statue of Ambedkar statue by the end of 2018. A nationwide movement would be launched against amendments to SC/ST Atrocities Act. Measures will be taken to increase the living standards of Dalits,' he claimed.
Instead of intensifying the movement by making his party MPs resign, Chandrababu declares he will bring Special Status if people of AP offer 25 MP Seats to TDP in 2019 Polls. He went on to say whichever party TDP supports will form the government at centre next year.
Babu wondered how could Modi, who was instrumental in continuous adjournment of Budget Session, launch day-long fast protesting it. He informed about his plans of sitting on one-day fast on his birthday (April 20th).
The comments made by Chandrababu Naidu indicate that he wants to make Special Status an election promise in 2019 to gain political mileage. TDP have 20 MP Seats at present. When he can't do anything now, what else will be done if TDP have five more seats?
