The ongoing Coronavirus has been ringing danger bells across the globe. The emergence of the new strains related to the novel Coronavirus added more troubles and made things ugly.

The starting of the cold wave resulted in the rapid growth of fresh infections and fatalities. Over the past few days, fresh Coronavirus infections are increasing across the globe.

All-time high fresh Coronavirus cases were registered across the globe in the past 24 hours, with not less than 6,12,214 new cases, which takes the total toll of cases to a whopping 90,691,625.

The fatalities related to the pandemic are raising many concerns. A total of 1,943,131 patients succumbed to the respiratory disease, including 8,836 fresh casualties registered in 24 hours.

The unwanted development like the new strains of the virus and the second wave of the virus resulted in the global Coronavirus infections getting doubled in the span of 10 weeks.

According to the data collected by the famous Johns Hopkins University(JPU), as of late October, the global count of cases stood at 45 million. On January 11, the toll surpassed the 90 million mark which is quite scary.

On the other hand, the new strain of virus detected in the United Kingdom and Africa are also posing a great threat to the world with the rapid growth in the infections.

To make things scarier, the UK strains and African strains are found to be more transmissible and deadly compared to the previous Covid-19 causing strain.

The United States continues to face the wrath of the deadly outbreak of the pandemic. Things went upside down in the nation since the Presidential elections were commenced.

According to the reports, the United States has been registering more than one lakh fresh infections since early November, while the fatalities are also increasing at an alarming level.

A total of 22,293,281 infections have been registered in the US so far, while 383,275 patients have breathed their last battling the respiratory disease.

After the United States, India and Brazil hold the highest infections of the pandemic. India has a total of 10,450,284 infections, followed by Brazil with 8,075,998
