Infections Of Pandemic Surpass 1.5 Crore-Mark Globally

The latest data collected by the famous Johns Hopkins University (JHU) is raiding many fears and concerns about the spread of the contagious disease across the countries.
As per the data, a record 239,924 fresh infections were reported globally which takes the total infections of the virus to 15,116,495. With 5,678 fresh casualties reported in the last 24 hours, the total fatalities in connection with the virus zoomed to 620,032.
Out of the 213 nations, four nations emerged as the worst-hit countries in the world. Superpower nation United States, Brazil, Russia, and India hold the lion share of the cases in the world.
United States(4,028,733 cases and 144,958 fatalities), Brazil(2,166,532 infections, 81,597 casualties), India(1,055,932 cases, 26,508 fatalities), Russia(789,190 infections, 12,745 casualties) are the nations with more number of cases and fatalities.
These four countries account for around 70% of the total cases in the world. US, Brazil, India, Russia are the top four worst-affected countries in the world due to the virus outbreak.
Following this, many countries have decided to tighten the travel restrictions so that the contagious disease is not spread further. Ireland and the Philippines are reportedly gearing up to tighten the travel restrictions.
