Goa CM Pramod Sawant Tests Corona Positive, Goes Into Isolation

A day after chairing a review meeting with Health Minister, Revenue Minister, and other concerned officials to review the Coronavirus situation, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant tested Coronavirus positive.
Pramod Sawant took to Micro-blogging site Twitter to confirm the news and said as he is asymptomatic for the virus he is observing home-isolation. He appalled everyone who might have come in contact with him to be cautious.
"I wish to inform all that I have been detected COVID19 positive. I am asymptomatic and hence have opted for home isolation. I shall continue to discharge my duties working from home. Those who have come in my close contact are advised to take the necessary precautions," CM's Tweet read.
Pramod Sawant became the fourth Chief Minister in the country to contact the novel Coronavirus. Earlier, Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa, MP CM Shivaraj Singh Chouhan, and Haryana CM KL Khattar tested Corona positive.
