Robbery in Vijayashanti's House

Former Parliament Member Vijayashanti got the shock of her life with the robbery which took place in her official residence in Banjara Hills on Friday.
Vijayashanti approached Banjara Jills police to lodge a complaint on the missing diamond ring & gold jewellery. A case has been registered and investigation is going on. Details about the total loss hasn't been disclosed so far.
Sometime ago, Vijayashanti floated a political party for the cause of Telangana statehood. She merged her party into TRS prior to 2009 polls and got elected as MP. Soon after Telangana Bill was passed in Parliament, Ramulamma shifted loyalties to Congress due to the differences she had with TRS Leadership. She, however, unsuccessfully contested 2014 polls on Congress ticket. Ever since then, She has made very few public appearances and hasn't been active in Congress party affairs.
