Good News For Young Patients Of Pandemic

You need not worry about Corona virus if you are young, healthy and have no morbid diseases like diabetes, hypertension, asthma etc. Statistics show that among the total fatalities caused by the current pandemic, at least a half are of those above 60 years of age. A large number of those who died had ailments like diabetes, heart problems, chronic kidney problems and others.
As on April 20, at least 51.2 per cent of the deaths were of those above 60 years of age. Similarly, out of the total fatalities, an estimated 78 per cent pandemic deaths were of those who had a history of chronic ailments. The analysis also shows that men are more prone to the affliction compared to women. Studies have shown that among the pandemic deaths, 65 per cent are that of males, while females account for just 35 per cent. Among the deaths, only 14 percent are of those who areless than 45 years. In below-15 years age group, the fatalities are just 0.5 per cent.
The doctors suggest that balanced diet, regular physical exercise and keeping peace of mind are key to combating the pandemic. They suggest that eating nutritious food and staying positive are also very important.
