Goteti Ramachandra Rao who worked as an Officer On Special Duty when NTR was the Chief Minister shared few interesting incidents which happened in his presence.
As per Ramachandra Rao, Harikrishna wasn't the first to ride NTR's Chaitanya Ratham. Reddy who worked as NTR's Driver in the early 80s drove the campaign vehicle initially. Harikrishna had replaced him after the conspiracy of Nadendla Bhaskar Rao. He used to ensure NTR hadn't faced any discomfort while driving the vehicle.
Two Bad Incidents - 1) Smoke engulfed Chaitanya Ratham while getting on to the Siddantham Bridge, 2) A Security Guard suffered injury while Harikrishna was driving the vehicle near Lower Manair Dam. When he was asked to take a break, Harikrishna expressed his displeasure, 'Naaku Driving Radha?'. NTR continued Harikrishna as the driver as he couldn't say no to his son who cares so much about him.
Shivaji Ganesan visited NTR's Residence to invite him for his Son's Wedding. When the Tamil Legend informed about his plans to invite ANR as well, Harikrishna offered to take him to Akkineni's Home. Quickly, A Security Officer tried to stop Harikrishna by saying NTR and ANR aren't on talking terms during that period. Then, Harikrishna replied: 'NTR Gariki, Nageswara Rao Gariki Vibhedalu Unte Nakemiti. Nenalantivi Lekka Cheyanu'.
Harikrishna dropped Shivaji Ganesan in his car and spent 10 minutes in ANR's house. That's the character of Seethaiah!
For the 3rd Floor Construction of Aahwanam Hotel, Harikrishna approached NTR to seek a loan of Rs 30 lakh. Then, NTR had jovially commented, 'Ramachandra Rao, Hari Ki Rs 30 lakh Kavalanta...Na Daggara Antha Dabbu Ekkadundhi? Me Daggara Unte Hari Ki Ivvandi'.
Once, NTR thought of buying a new car. Benz Company dealer brought a new model to show it to him. Upon knowing about the price tag, NTR reacted, 'Ammo! Rs 6.50 Lakh'. When the dealer informed him that even Harikrishna purchased the same car, NTR joked: 'Ayanakem Kontadandi, Endukante Ayana NTR Koduku..Nenu Mamoolu Nandamuri Lakshmaiah Chowdary Kodukuni. Naaku, Ayanaku Polikenti'. In the end, TDP Founder didn't buy that Benz Car.
