Gouthu Family Backstabbed, Sireesha Removed From TDP Chief Post

The TDP has virtually shown the door to the politically influential Gouthu family in the North Andhra. The Gouthu family, which has been in politics for over seven decades, has been with the TDP ever since it was formed, has now literally been marginalized.
Gouthu Shyamasundara Shivaji's daughter Gouthu Sireesha has been removed from the Srikakulam district TDP chief's post rather unceremoniously. She was given no prior indication that she would be removed. Suddenly, she was replaced by Kuna Ravikumar. Gouthu family feels that Chandrababu should have atleast informed them about the decision. But, this is rather unjust, the family feels.
Interestingly, this removal came barely days after AP TDP chief Atchen Naidu came to Shyamsundara Shivaji and took his blessings. The photo of Atchen Naidu touching Shivaji's feet went viral. Within days, Sireesha has been shown the door. Sources say this could not have happened without the knowledge of Atchen Naidu.
Meanwhile, Ravikumar, who has been made the district party chief was former MLA of Amadalavalas. He lost to present speaker Tammineni Sitaram. He is known for his aggressive brand of politics.
