Governor declares common entrance

Governor ESL Narasimhan ordered to conduct common entrance test for engineering and medical admissions in Telugu States. He stated that EAMCET will be the common entrance test for both the states as per the bifurcation regulations.

Telangana government orders to form new education board sparked the issues between states. Andhra Pradesh ministers approached Union government and governor to resolve these issues. Considering these complaints governor had discussion with MHO in his recent Delhi visit. As per sources information MHO authorities suggested governor to maintain same status till another 10 years as decided during bifurcation of state.
