Governor, KTR, TSPSC Give Different Figures On Police Recruitment

How many police personnel did the Telangana government recruit? If one goes by the claim of TRS working president and senior minister KTR, as many as 31972 police personnel were recruited by the Telangana State Public Service Commission during the last six years. But, the figures presented by the Governor and the TSPSC are vastly different from this figure.
According to the Governor's address to both the houses of the state, the government has recruited 23,648 police personnel. This is a good eight thousand less that KTR's claim. The TSPSC has a different figure to offer. It says only 28227 police personnel were recruited. This is 3000 less than KTR's figure. The TSPSC says that notification was issued for 30,580 posts and the process of post-filling was taken up for 28227 posts. Of them, as many as 23,233 are undergoing training. The remaining are currently in limbo. But of these three, whose figures are correct and whose are wrong?
Meanwhile, the term of incharge chairperson of the TSPSC has come to an end. This leaves just one member in the commission. He is due to retire in few months. Once he retires, the TSPSC would have no members and would be totally defunct.
