Governor's Letter to Centre on Jayalalithaa Heath

A report sent by Tamil Nadu Governor Vidyasagar Rao to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on December 7th has seen light following an RTI Query.
Mr.Vidyasagar Rao informed Centre that Jayalalithaa hospitalized on September 22nd due to fever and dehydration. He added, Jayalalithaa showed signs of improvement soon after medical care was provided but her condition deteriorated after a week. She was shifted to a private room from ICU on November 19th, 2016.
Governor told he was informed about Jayalalithaa suffering cardiac arrest on December 4th when he was in Mumbai. He claimed to have rushed to Chennai soon after knowing the news.
Vidyasagar Rao told, Apollo Doctors have provided high-end resuscitation and Jayalalithaa was kept on ECMO. Still, Jaya's condition continued to be critical and she was declared dead on December 5th midnight.
