Hero's Apology & Rs 5 lakh Compensation to Fan

Bollywood actor Govinda informed Supreme Court about his willingness to apologise & pay Rs 5 lakh compensation to his fan Santosh Bateshwar Ray whom he slapped 6 years ago on a movie set. Subsequently, The Apex Court granted two weeks time for the actor to meet the complainant in person and apologise.
In November last year, Govinda was directed by Supreme Court either to apologise to his fan or face persecution for criminal intimidation and assault. 'You are a big hero, show your big heart,' Justice TS Thakur commented.
However, Govinda refused to apologise then saying Santosh Bateshwar Ray wasn't even his fan and accused him of having wrong intentions. Finally, He changed his mind to end the whole issue.
Sources say, Santosh Bateshwar Ray wasn't happy with the compensation offered by Govindra and he wants the actor to meet him in person first.
